There are round threads and flat threads.  There are single and multi-strand threads.  There are threads with texture and threads that stretch.  There are even threads that are pre-waxed, and all come in every color of the rainbow.  Telling them apart can be a nightmare.  Understanding the difference will make picking the right thread for the right fly easy. Ice Cubes 1 oz Gin 2 oz  Sweet Vermouth .5 oz  Luxardo Liqueur 2 drops Orange Bitters 2 drops Old Fashion Bitters To build: Chill your favorite martini glass. 2 oz       Cuban Rum 1.5 oz    Lime juice 6            Mint Leaves 1 tsp     Sugar top.       Club Soda To Build: Place your lime juice, sugar and mint in the bottom of your glass.  Use a muddler to bruise the mint and begin melting the sugar.  Add ice and rum to glass and stir to chill.  Top with club soda and a fresh sprig of mint and a lime wedge. The Liberty Cocktail

1 tsp   Sugar 1          Lime wedge 1 oz     Calvados (Apple Brandy) 3/4 oz  Light Rum Place the lime wedge in a heavy bottomed Old Fashioned Glass and add the sugar.  Muddle the lime and sugar together until the sugar dissolves.
