Sangria Oro
A golden, fruit-packed sangria with a kick, DUN's favorite Halloween punch and proof it's stronger than it looks.
Ice Cubes
1 Apple - Sliced
1 Orange - Sliced
1 Lemon - Sliced
5 oz Apple Cider
1/2 Lemon - Juiced
2 oz Vodka
5 oz Licor 43
12 oz Cava
In a large pitcher combine ice and fruit. Add the cider, lemon juice, vodka, Licor 43 and chill. Just before serving open a chilled bottle of Cava and carefully pour into the pitcher. Stir and serve immediately.
Punch drinks are a staple at DUN gatherings. If you're thinking about the water-downed drinks you would get at the church functions of your youth, this is not that. DUN punches go back to the punches of yester-year, where they were created for maximum flavor and for a kick or "punch!"
Every year at the DUN Halloween Party this punch makes an appearance. It's always a hit. After enjoying a glass or two it's never a good idea to enter a drinking game with the college-aged kids hovering around. Just Ask Megan how that went for her!
