Seakeeper Ride Comes to Pontoons Through New Barletta Partnership

Seakeeper and Barletta Boats have formed a partnership that brings Seakeeper Ride to the pontoon market for the first time. The announcement landed on January 21, 2026, in Fort Myers, Florida.

Seakeeper Ride cuts up to 70% of pitch, roll, and yaw while underway. The system has been in the recreational market since 2022 on boats that measure roughly 19 to 55 feet. Barletta made subtle changes to the aft running surface and created a mounting system that fits the new category. New pontoon software changes handling and comfort in fresh and saltwater.

Barletta will offer Seakeeper Ride on the 23 Lusso and 25 Lusso. More models are planned in the future. The company becomes the first in the pontoon space to offer this type of underway stabilization.

Andrew Semprevivo, President and CEO of Seakeeper, stated that the pontoon segment has lacked true stabilization. He noted that Seakeeper Ride has become a normal feature in other segments. He added that pontoons can now handle rougher water and bank into turns in a more natural way.

Jeff Haradine, President of Barletta Boats, stated that the goal is to improve the on-water experience for customers on every outing. He said that the partnership makes an already smooth platform even smoother and more comfortable.

Seakeeper Ride uses a variable gain algorithm to reduce motion without tuning by the operator. The software adds banking during turns on pontoons and keeps the deck level as people move around the boat.

The pontoon market continues to grow in North America. This move places marine stabilization into a segment that has been known for comfort, deck space, and family use. The partnership signals a shift toward higher performance and expanded water conditions for pontoon owners.

This news marks a clear step for both brands as Seakeeper extends its reach to a new part of the recreational market and Barletta adds a motion control feature that improves handling and confidence for its buyers.
