Depending on the season, you can find her guiding in Central Idaho for Silver Creek Outfitters or in Central Oregon for the Fly Fishers Place. For over a decade, I observed as my husband crafted the bamboo fly rods I so much love to fish. This winter I embarked on a pursuit to craft my own bamboo fly rod. Oh my goodness! Bambeau

Gin clear, slow moving, spring creek water.  Birds singing in the background.  I am casting, squatted down far from the bank so as not to scare the spooky fish.  I can barely see the spot where I know there’s gotta be a fish.  False cast a few times to get enough line out to hit my target.  My #10 black leech lands spot on.  I am mixing it up - slow retrieve, long pause, fast retrieve, pause – a subtle pull back, I set the hook. A Bucket List Must

Like all anglers I have my bucket list of place to fish. What describes your bucket list?  Is it a certain size of fish? Is it a species? Is it a destination? For me the bucket list focuses more on destination and type of fish than the size of fish. I am always interested in catching a new species in new waters.
