Lanie Galland

grew up exploring the mountains of North Georgia with her close-knit family before moving west to San Luis Obispo, CA. She currently resides in Truckee, CA, researching trout of the Lake Tahoe Basin as she works towards her Ph.D. in Conservation Genomics. When she's not on the river, you can find her running the Tahoe Rim Trail, snowboarding Diamond Peak or sunning and swimming the crystalline waters of Zephyr Cove alongside her pup, Bailey.
